Membership Levels

Membership is available to all individuals recognized and employed by a healthcare facility and having primary or secondary responsibilities for the management of volunteer services. Emeritus membership is provided for retired DVS’s.

Categories

1. Directors of Volunteer Services -

   Full membership in the Corporation shall be

   available to individuals employed by the administration of a healthcare

   organization as having primary or secondary responsibilities for the

   management of the volunteer services department within those

   organizations.

2. Gift Shop Managers -

   Associate membership in the Corporation

   shall be available to individuals employed by the administration of a

   healthcare organization or its volunteer/auxiliary organization as

   having primary or secondary responsibilities for the management of the

   gift shop and its staff within those organizations. Associate Members

   shall have the same voting privileges as Full Members, however dues

   structure and benefits may differ.

3. Emeritus Members -

   Emeritus membership in the Corporation

   shall be available to directors of volunteer services who have retired

   from volunteer services management in a healthcare organization. They

   shall not be eligible for Board positions and shall not have voting

   privileges of directors. They may serve on committees where they may

   vote. They shall receive all membership services.
